Jonathan Ivey is a lifetime resident of Western North Carolina and graduate of Charles D. Owen High School.  He worked as a skilled carpenter, rock mason, and safety boater for a local wilderness camp from 1994-2007.  These jobs helped reinforce Mr. Ivey’s natural attention to detail, work ethic, safety, and responsibility for others.  Mr. Ivey possesses a strong appreciation and self-taught understanding of the environment, ecology, and natural processes of this region.  Jonathan is 40-hour OSHA-HAZWOPR trained and is responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from mowing to remediation system inspection and repair.  He handles the operation and maintenance of two groundwater pump-and-treat remediation systems, record keeping and reporting, maintenance of eight acres of capped landfills, maintenance of all site monitoring wells, and general site maintenance activities.
